RideBase in the browser (web portal)

RideBase is also available as a web portal for the big screen: https://web.ridebase.app
You sign in with the same credentials as in the app — all data is automatically in sync. Registration is also possible directly in the browser (see Create an account).
The pages in the personal area​

| "Neue Aktivitäten" (new activities) | Detected trips still waiting to be assigned — choose a purpose and assign them to a vehicle. Only appears when there are open activities. |
| "Garage" | All your vehicles, sorted by urgency — with search, a detail view, and "Fahrzeug hinzufügen" (add vehicle). |
| "Meine Strecken" (my routes) | The routes you've covered as a fog map or heatmap, filterable by vehicle type — see My Routes. |
| "Fahrtenbuch" (logbook) | All trips of your vehicles in one timeline — filterable by period, vehicle, and purpose, with an "Exportieren" (export) feature (more about exporting). |
Context switcher​
At the top of the sidebar sits the context switcher. Use it to toggle between:
- "Persönlich" (personal) — your own vehicles and content shared with you
- "Werkstätten" (workshops) — the workshop portal, if you're a member of a workshop (more about the workshop portal)
You'll also find "Werkstatt beantragen" (apply for a workshop) there, in case you run a workshop yourself, as well as "Werkstatt-Portal ansehen" (view the workshop portal) — a preview of the workshop portal with sample data.
What's app-only?​
Some features need your smartphone and are therefore only available in the app:
- RideDetect — automatic trip detection runs on your phone's sensors (set up RideDetect)
- Data source import — import trips from Strava, Apple Health, or Health Connect (learn more)
- QR code scanning — e.g. to share your vehicle via a workshop QR code (learn more)
- Bluetooth assignment — assign Bluetooth devices (e.g. your car stereo) to a vehicle (learn more)
- Emergency pass — important information for emergencies (learn more)
- Push notifications to your phone (learn more)
