What belongs in a good support requestโ
The more context you include, the faster we can help:
| Detail | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| App version | Profile โ About RideBase (e.g. "Version 1.4.2") |
| Device & operating system | e.g. "iPhone 15, iOS 18" or "Pixel 8, Android 15" |
| What happened? | A short description: What did you do, what did you expect, what happened instead? |
| When? | Date and time โ especially important for missing trips |
| Details from the logs | For trip topics: Profile โ Logs shows the last 50 trips and RideDetect detections โ see Privacy & diagnostics |
:::tip Trip missing? Before reaching out, take a look at RideDetect: Troubleshooting โ it describes the most common causes with solutions. :::
Known notice screensโ
"Update required"โ
If the app shows the full-screen notice "Update required", your app version is too old to keep working with RideBase. Tap Update now โ you'll be taken straight to the store:
- iOS: App Store
- Android: Google Play
After the update you can use the app as usual.
"No connection"โ
The "No connection" notice appears when the RideBase server can't be reached. Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi/mobile data) and then tap Try again. If the problem persists for a while despite a working connection, feel free to write to us at mail@ridebase.app.
You'll also find many answers in the FAQ.
