Exporting the logbook

Export your trips as a PDF (for printing) or CSV (for Excel) — e.g. for your taxes. You can also save report templates and have the logbook sent to you automatically by email.

Creating an export (app)​

  1. Open your Profile and tap Export logbook under Logbook / Export
  2. Choose the Period: Week, Month, Quarter, Year, or Time range (free from/to dates)
  3. Under Vehicles, select one or more vehicles (All / None)
  4. Optionally filter by Trip purpose: All, business, commute, private
  5. Choose the Format: PDF or CSV
  6. Tap Export — the finished file opens in the system share sheet (e.g. to send it by email or save it to Files)

Customizing columns​

Under Columns you decide which details appear in the report: Date, Vehicle, Start time, End time, Odometer start, Odometer end, Kilometers driven, Purpose, Start location, Destination, Reason/occasion, Driver, and Duration. With Default you reset the selection.

In the web portal​

In the web portal (web.ridebase.app), open the "Fahrtenbuch" (logbook) menu item and click "Exportieren" (export) at the top. The dialog offers the same options as the app (period, vehicles, trip purpose, format, columns); your current list filters are already pre-filled. The file is downloaded directly.

Report templates & automatic email delivery​

If you regularly need the same report, save the configuration as a template:

  1. Configure the export as desired and tap As template
  2. Give it a name (e.g. "Business trips company car") and tap Save

You'll find your templates under Profile → Report templates. For each template you can:

  • Create now — generate and share the report immediately for a period of your choice
  • Set up delivery — configure automatic email delivery:
    • Frequency: monthly, weekly, or yearly (for monthly/yearly you can choose On day 1–28)
    • Report period: previous month, previous week, previous year, or month to date
    • Recipient email (empty = your account email)
    • Active toggle for pausing
  • Test now — trigger the configured delivery immediately

Exporting or sharing a single trip​

Open the trip in your vehicle's trip list and tap the three-dot menu in the detail view:

  • Route as GPX — exports the recorded route as a GPX file (only for trips with a GPS route), e.g. for importing into other apps
  • Share — opens "Share trip": an image card with your route or a photo and the key figures (distance, duration, average speed). Swipe through the designs and share the image with Share this design via the system share sheet.
