Customer vehicles in the Workshop Portal
Available in: 💻 Workshop Portal on web.ridebase.app
Under "Kundenfahrzeuge" (customer vehicles) you'll see all vehicles that customers have shared with your workshop — sorted by urgency, so overdue services stand out immediately.
The vehicle list
For each vehicle, the table shows: "Fahrzeug" (vehicle), "Kunde" (customer), "Kennzeichen" (license plate), "Stand" (reading — kilometers or operating hours), "Nächste Fälligkeit" (next due date), "Freigaben" (shared areas), and "Aktiv" (last activity). Use the search field (Kunde, Fahrzeug, Kennzeichen…) to filter the list.
Above it, four tiles summarize the status — clicking one filters the list:
- "Fahrzeuge gesamt" (total vehicles)
- "überfällig" (overdue)
- "bald fällig" (due soon)
- "im grünen Bereich" (all in the green)
The due-date traffic light
Each row carries a traffic-light dot for the vehicle's most critical service plan:
| Color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Red | A service is overdue |
| Yellow | A service is due soon |
| Green | Everything's in the green |
The list is automatically sorted by this urgency.
Accepting or rejecting share requests
If a customer found your workshop via the search in the app and requested a share, it appears at the top of the page in the "Freigabe-Anfragen" (share requests) section — with the customer, key vehicle details, and the requested scope. Until you decide, the workshop has no access to the vehicle.
- "Annehmen" (accept) — the share becomes active and the vehicle appears in the list; the customer is notified
- "Ablehnen" (reject) — the request is rejected; the customer is notified and can request again later
All workshop roles may decide on requests. Shares via your QR code, on the other hand, are active immediately and never show up here.
The vehicle detail view
Clicking a vehicle opens the detail view with these tabs:
- "Übersicht" (overview) — service status with traffic light and progress, internal notes, the "Freigabe durch den Kunden" (share granted by the customer) section (customer, shared since, shared areas), and the "Fahrzeugdaten" (vehicle details — type, make, model, series, license plate, status)
- "Historie" (history) — the service history over time. A note tells you whether the customer has shared the full history or only your workshop's own entries
- "Servicepläne" (service plans) — all active plans with traffic-light status, interval, and last execution
- "Komponenten" (components) — the vehicle's components, including the owner's storage and archive
- "Dokumente" (documents) — only visible if the customer has shared Dokumente & Anhänge (documents & attachments)
In the page header you'll also see the current odometer reading or operating hours (an "≈" marks values estimated from GPS trips) and when the vehicle was last active.
:::info What you never see Customers' trips, GPS tracks, fuel data, and purchase data are never visible to workshops. The customer can adjust or end their share at any time. :::
